Dr. Alex Lo is the founder of Alex Lo Dental Centre, established in 1999. He is highly regarded as a pioneer in advanced dental services tailored to patients’ needs. Known for his dedication to continuous learning, he stays updated with the latest techniques and technology in dentistry.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Alex has placed countless dental implants and continues to excel in implant dentistry and full-mouth rehabilitation. Beyond clinical practice, he is deeply committed to mentoring his partners and associates, ensuring that all patients receive ethical, high-quality treatment.

Dr. Joanne Bianca Yong graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2012, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2016. She practiced as a general dentist in private clinics in Perth, Western Australia, from 2017 to 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she relocated to her hometown of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, where she obtained her Malaysian Dental Council registration and completed her compulsory service as a contract dental officer at Klinik Pergigian Labuan under the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

​Dr. Joanne joined the Alex Lo Dental Centre in November 2023 as an associate dentist and quickly progressed to become a dental partner in 2025. As a proud alumnus of the same institution as Dr. Alex, she embodies the same commitment to excellence in dental care. Her dedication to patient well-being and her passion for dentistry reflect the core values of practice. Together, they strive to provide exceptional dental services to the community.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Joanne is a cheerful and passionate individual who enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She loves food as much as she loves baking and takes every opportunity to explore new culinary experiences around the world.

She maintains her registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of both the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA).
